MAX4073TAXK+T

The MAX4073TAXK+T is a low cost, voltage output, high side current sense amplifier with +20V/V gain in 5 pin SC-70 package. The voltage output of this device eliminates the need for gain setting resistors which makes this device as ideal for applications where current monitoring is crucial. High side current monitoring does not interfere with ground path of battery charger making the MAX4073T particularly useful in battery powered systems. The input common mode range of +2V to +28V is independent of supply voltage. The wide 1.8MHz bandwidth of MAX4073T makes it suitable for use inside battery charger control loops. The combination of fixed gain and selectable external sense resistor sets the full scale current reading. It offers high level of integration resulting in simple and compact current sense solution. The device is used in PA bias control, general system/board level current monitoring and precision current sources.
